The Spiritual Reading today was on reports.

Legionary duty requires from each Legionary an adequate and audible report on the work done.

The report is our main line of communication. It enables the meeting to understand the work. It is important. In Matthew 5:16, Jesus says;

"So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven"
Other members learn. They can give advice or perhaps help. Knowing what is happening gives the meeting some control over the work.

Reports should be interesting and informative. They should contain enough detail so that others can understand the situation. But they should be short. Others should let the person giving the report speak without being interripted.

The secretary records the work being done. Your reports are also recorded in a book in heaven.
