How do we measure our success as Legionaries? It is faithfulness to
the Legion system that is the measure of a Legionary, not good works, wealth, or intelligence.
What did Jesus praise? He praised faith. Many times he said "Your faith has saved you". or "Your faith has cured you." When someone disappointed Him, He would say, "O you of little faith." In the closing prayer we ask for a faith that will enable us to accomplish our work. We have to put aside our own egos and be faithful to the Legion system so we can effectively serve the people we meet. The measure of our success as Legionaries is not the work we do but our faithfulness to the Legion system. |
